Curb Appeal
Curb appeal is your best chance to make a positive impact on buyers before they enter your house. The positive and negative features that jump out at buyers shape their initial opinion of your house and how you upkeep home's regular maintenance.
Understanding this assists us in deciding what we can do to draw buyers from the street and into your home. If your house isn't attractive on the outside with retouched paint and bright garden plants it's time to get those things done. Refer to the Curb Appeal Checklist and boost your home's final selling price.

Welcome Home
Can buyers envision themselves hanging out in your living area, relaxing in your reading nook or studying in your home office? We want your home to pleasantly accept buyers and give them a sense of comfort. I'll help you do this by recommending changes that highlight your house's features.
I'll tell you put in storage anything that gives the appearance of clutter. Surface areas like tables, desks and counters should be free and clear. Arts and crafts, sentimental items, family photos, and kids' artwork should get moved out of sight. We need to "generalize" the house so buyers can imagine it as their new home.
I'll review each room of your home. I'll note the pieces of furniture that should be removed, rooms that need a fresh coat of paint, carpet needing to be changed, fixtures that could use shining, and any other improvement that can easily be made to positively impact the sale.
Working together, we'll make sure your house has mass appeal and that it's inviting, staying away from "offensive" or "too-bright" hues on the walls and furniture. And if you've already moved out, you can try renting furniture. You want your home to look ready to live in as opposed to abandoned.

Setting the Stage
During your Open House, we're doing well if we're engaging the buyer's senses. Brightness is important and we'll draw back curtains, and add lighting where needed to welcome the buyer. We'll enhance the mood of the house with enjoyable music playing softly and make sure a delightful scent flows throughout your home. We'll incorporate cozy-looking bedspreads, and place pillows on your sofa and bedding. We want buyers to feel like your current home has the potential to be. |
